Welcome to the strange and wonderful world of foundry mold patterns. They come from the metal foundry of a 150 yr. old valve manufacturer. They have an industrial modernist appeal with nautical themes, African Mask-like shapes, with a streamlined Art Deco circus of color. A symbol of early 20th century American craftsmanship, there are 1000's of variations, all wood, some made of old growth mahogany. All have been kept in the original condition. General Public interest has been staggering. I find that people of all ages have a positive reaction to these.
